Chancen finden, richtig positionieren.
Modular, ohne Fixkosten.
Du buchst nur, was du gerade brauchst – ohne Fixkosten.
Sie will etwas Besonderes.
Konzernmarken
Deine Eigenmarke
Bringt Marge, aber keine Magie.
niedriger Preis · wenig Zugkraft
Was dir sonst keiner bietet
Fertige Basis, voll anpassbar
So funktioniert’s
01
Du kaufst direkt bei der Manufaktur. Kein Importeur, kein Distributor, kein Markenaufschlag dazwischen.
02
ONE, direkt eingekauft
Was FrameStudio kann
Designzeichnung hochladen – in ein paar Minuten hast du ein fotorealistisches Rendering.
Gleiche Kamera, gleiches Licht, jede Farbe.
Kein Fehler – Physik. Also Runde zwei. Sechs Wochen, mal 40 Modelle.
In FrameStudio tippt niemand Codes.
Du buchst genau das, was dein Projekt gerade braucht.

Five clearly defined phases. You join wherever your project currently stands.
A ready-made high-craft collection with no brand identity of its own. You put your name on it – and buy close to factory price.
She walks into your store. She doesn’t want the brand everyone already wears. She wants something rare, something with a story, something hers. And you don’t have it.
The market, as it really is
The conglomerate brands
The big licence brands hang in every other shop window.
high price · zero exclusivity
The gap – where desire lives
The frames customers actually fall in love with.
out of your reach
Your in-house budget line
Margin, but no magic.
low price · low pull
You own the bottom. The conglomerates own the top. The middle – the part customers actually fall in love with – belongs to no one you can buy from.
The labels that own that desire built their value on scarcity: selective distribution, protected territories, a refusal to sit on a 400-store shelf. That’s exactly why customers want them – and exactly why you can’t stock them at scale. Until now.
Introducing
A high-craft collection built to live exactly where nothing else can – in your blind spot. Same detail. Same soul. None of the walls.
Where it’s made
ONE is produced in the same manufactures that make frames for respected independent labels. This is not a budget line dressed up. It’s the real craft, from the real source.
The obsession is in the details
Laminated fronts. Matching sun clips engineered to the tenth of a millimetre. Colourways developed the way boutique labels do it. Every model earns a second look – and that second look sells the frame.
The part no one else can offer you
You source ONE directly from the manufacture and pay essentially the factory price. My commission is paid by the maker – never added to your invoice.
A base, fully customisable
A ready-made base collection in acetate, titanium and combination – and every model can be fully customised to your specification.
Plus 2 combination models in acetate and metal. Terms and volume pricing from 1,500 pieces on request.
How the model works
01
You buy straight from the manufacture. No importer, no distributor, no brand tax in the middle.
02
You pay close to cost. My margin is settled by the maker and never lands on your invoice.
03
Volumes, timing, exclusivity, logistics – all yours. Transparent from bench to shelf.
And it isn’t even called ONE
ONE is an industrial collection with no fixed identity of its own. It arrives blank. You brand it, name it, tell its story. To your customer it isn’t a supplier’s line – it’s your exclusive house collection, one they can’t find anywhere else.
Why it changes your P&L
A conglomerate brand
Thin margin. No exclusivity. The same frame down the street at your competitor.
ONE, sourced direct
Boutique-grade product, private-label economics – and exclusive to you, under your own name.
The bigger picture
The independent labels that own this look command boutique prices. Because you source ONE directly from the maker, you can put the same style and quality on your shelf – at half the price, or less.
A collection like this only makes sense at scale – for chains and buying groups with the reach to make an exclusive line truly their own.
Let’s build it together
I’m happy to walk you through samples, manufactures and terms in person – under NDA.
A second ready-made collection for smaller volumes: 15 models in 51 colours, with a low minimum per colour.
FrameStudio is a PLM built only for eyewear. I advise the pickz.ai team building it – and use it in my client projects.
FrameStudio is a PLM built only for eyewear: brands on one side, factories on the other, and everything in between in one place. Ideas, drawings, colorways, samples, prices.
One source of truth for the whole collection
The problem
Every brand rebuilds the same process from scratch each season. Every factory answers the same questions by mail. And every season, the second sample round eats six weeks nobody planned for.
What FrameStudio does
Upload a design drawing, get a photorealistic rendering in minutes.
Same camera, same light for every colorway – you compare colour, not photography.
Every deviation is visible and logged, not argued about three weeks later.
Collection overview and a clean manufacturer handover in one place.
Factories connect directly and see the same spec, the same drawings, the same colorway the brand sees.
Each zone of the frame is linked to the real material record: supplier, article, swatch image, availability.
From practice
01
Flat, 4 mm, on your desk. Then the first sample arrives – darker at the rim, milkier at the bridge. Nothing went wrong; physics happened. Round two: six weeks, times 40 models.
FrameStudio doesn’t replace the physical colour approval. It gets you to the right colorway before the first sample is cut. Round one becomes a confirmation, not a surprise.
02
A material code typed into the tech pack by hand, one digit wrong. The code existed, the factory made exactly that. Three weeks later: a beautiful prototype in the wrong colour.
In FrameStudio a colorway is never a typed code. If the code is wrong, the picture is wrong – and you see it before the prototype.
03
The tech pack gets re-typed, the question arrives on WeChat at 11 pm, and nobody knows which drawing is current.
Brand and factory work from the same basis. Deviations are logged, not argued about.
The goal
3, not 9
months of development cycle. First shown at SILMO Paris 2026.
Christian Mangels advises pickz.ai on FrameStudio: collection logic, colorway and material handling, drawing checks and factory handover.
Try it
Send me a drawing from your next collection and we’ll render it together. For manufacturers: bring your questions – the tool only works if it works for you too.
More than 20 years at industry leaders such as Eschenbach Optik, Wagner + Kühner and Eyes + More taught me how good collections come together – and why they fail.
Today I bring that experience to your product development. Small family business or big chain – I work with anyone who wants to make great eyewear. One condition: the chemistry has to be right. I work with people, not for egos.
From family business to retail chain – what matters isn’t size, it’s how we treat each other.
Honest, direct, fair. If that’s how you work too, we’ll get along. If you prefer working top-down, someone else will be a better fit.
You book exactly the services your project needs.
Founder & Lead Consultant: More than 20 years at Eschenbach Optik, Wagner + Kühner and Eyes + More. Today I help small and mid-sized companies build collections that compete with the industry’s largest players – without an in-house development team.
Tell me what you’re planning – by email, phone or LinkedIn. The first conversation is free and without obligation.
